I fucking hate clowns. Like, seriously fucking hate clowns. And it’s Tim Curry’s fault.

When the miniseries It premiered on TV when I was a kid I watched it and proceeded to have nightmares of clowns who were also giant fucking spiders. I hate spiders too, so that may not be a coincidence either.

Warner Bros. picked up the rights to make a single film adaptation back in 2009 but The Hollywood Reporter has now revealed that It will be 2 films and not just one. Fucking great.

The two assholes responsible for dragging my nightmares back into the present are Cary Fukunaga, who directed Jane Eyre, and he’ll be co-writing the screenplay with Chase Palmer. No word on whether Tim Curry has been cast as Pennywise the clown again.. god help us if they do.

Yes, I’m totally stoked to see this and I cannot wait!
