Rumors are flying about in every direction and they make me nervous. While I’ve already said I’m for Ben Affleck playing the Bats it was the heavily circulated report that Bryan Cranston playing Lex Luthor that got me out of my chair and dancing a little jig!

But then, the following rumors started pouring out.

Christopher Nolan and his wife, Emma Thomas, are no longer attached as Executive Producers for this film. Their names were absent from the latest press release entirely although word is that WB still has them on.

Then there’s talk that Robin will appear in the Superman vs Batman movie. More than that, it will be played by none other than Justin Timberlake. Now I like Timberlake, he’s done good but pairing him up with Affleck as Robin just looks wrong in my head.

Ok, these are unsubstantiated rumors and the only word we do have officially is that Affleck is Batman. If any of these new developments start to turn out to be true we’ll know what Warner Bros are really up to: they want to destroy DC Comics for some reason.
