– What are your goals as a writer?: Sweet cash money. I mean I want to tell stories that inspire a generation!
– Favourite writer/why?: Douglas Adams has the best ratio of description to story. You can read what he’s written and imagine exactly what he thought as he wrote it, he’s also funny as hell. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Douglas_Adams
– What do you think of Comics being made into movies?: I think it’s tough but when it’s done well it makes a lot of people very happy.
– Has reading a Comic ever changed your life? Which one/why? (If yes): Reading Blacksad by Juan Diaz Canales lets you realise that even tough it’s a book about an anthropomorphic cat detective it has an amazing and engrossing storyline. It also looks beautiful.
– If someone created a Comic about your life what would they title it?: “Why would you read this?”
– Where there any defining moments in your life that have influenced your writing style?: Growing up during the 90’s watching cartoons and seeing the shitty ones and the good ones.
– Favourite Comic writer of all time/why?: Brad Meltzer because he wrote my favourite book “Identity Crisis.” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brad_Meltzer
– What do you prefer to snack on when writing a masterpiece?: Any kind of delicious pastry that is also bad for me.
– Where do you get your daily inspiration from?: Walking to my boring job and thinking what would make it better.
– If you could collaborate with ANYBODY, who would it be and why?: Alex Ross, he is the my all time favourite comic artist, I don’t even care what he draws, it’s all good. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alex_Ross
– Are you Eco conscious?: Moderately.
– What happens when you get ‘half scared to death’ twice?: You get all the ladies with you sweet looking scares.
– What if Batman gets bitten by a vampire?:
You get that episode of “Batman: Brave and the Bold.” Where Batman become a vampire.
– Likes: Avatar: The Last Airbender.
– Dislikes: Shitty advertising.
– Favourite joke: A man walks into a bar and someone says “Nice shoes.” Unfazed he walks up to the bar and sits down, someone says “I like your tie.” Assuming it’s the barman the man orders a drink, the barman gives him the drink and walks out the back. The man realises he is alone in the bar but he hears someone say “You look really good today.” The man starts to freak out until the barman walks back in, the man asks the barman “Is there someone here? Someone keeps talking to me but I can’t see them.” The barman looks at the man says “Oh it’s the nuts, they’re complimentary.”
