photo-53After monday’s announcement that The Ultimate Warrior will be inducted to the WWE hall of fame, I decided to watch Self Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior, which is tonight’s midnight movie.  I’ve mentioned in previous posts that I grew up with an older brother who lived for and loved the WWF through the mid 80s into early 90s, so therefore I did the same.  My bro was a Hulkamaniac, but also a Honky Tonk Man  fan. I was all about the Macho Man and The Ultimate Warrior- maybe it was the the way rainbows of flashy fabric draped over Savage or the way The Warrior’s arm bands matched my bicycle ribbon. Either way/ there was a lot of wrestling in my life as the younger sister. As an adult this documentary is interesting, especially after being wise to the world in all ways.  As an “adult” I’m more aware of the lunacy and actual craziness that is The Ultimate Warrior.  Some people can hate on him while others like him. I personally think  the Warrior character does have a place in HoF history, but i also think there are some more deserving.

If you’ve never seen the full length movie, we’ve embedded it below thanks to YouTuber “Rants n Wrestling”
