Tonight – TheLifeOfBrian, by the Monty Python men. even though i know the script nearly line for line, I still genuinely laugh out loud. “The Life of Brian” tells the tale of Brian, a young Judean born on the same day as Jesus. During his life he is presented with Jesus, religious fanaticism and the Roman occupation. Through a series of ridiculous coincidences the people of Jerusalem think that Brian is the Messiah and so they go all fanboy on him. Eventually Brian fulfills the destiny of the real Jesus and is crucified. “The Life of Brian” is full of crude satire and absurd humor which is pretty much constant right from the start. Much like all the movies from the troupe, there are some very funny yet, very non-PC moments. I’m not sure many could get away with today.
