So it is obvious that the fine folks are talking about rebooting Green Lantern. I HAVE NO IDEA WHY?!

Oh… Right… nevermind… almost washed these memories away. For many of you who know me they know that I have four (4) great loves in this world. Punisher, Ghostbusters, PacMan and Green Lantern.   I mean Aggressive Comix really started development from a plastic Green Lantern ring. If you don’t believe me, read our about us section!

Well in the most recent of rumor mill news it seems as though Warner Bros is working on rebooting this massive turd of a film.

According to Collider, the Green Lantern film will feature more than one Green Lantern. To many of you I hope to god you have the same opinion as I which is … no kidding. Almost all Green Lantern stories involve more than one. At a minimum you would expect at least Sinestro (aka the only great acting choice in the original film) and possibly Kilowog.  But that is not the case what that are implying is that we might see at least two if not possibly three of the Earth-born members of the Corps; Hal Jordan, Guy Gardner and John Stewart, this aggravates me on several levels. Reason being is if we do an origin story then how are the other two characters going to be involved. If we are not then it would imply that at a minimum at least one if not two of the members will already be established as Lanterns. This again is troublesome to me because then is Sinestro already a bad guy? Thus breaking for the none comic book fans the massive reveal when he goes bad.  But again these are all rumors so who really knows? I doubt Warner Brothers even knows. I mean look at Suicide Squad, clearly they do not know what they are doing.

In addition to that we are hearing casting rumors. As of right now according to Umberto Gonzalez of Latino Review Chris Pine (Star Trek) is possibly being considered for the role of Hal Jordan. I know I left more rumor words in that past sentence that a weather man.  But none the less I think I would prefer Chris for Hal over Ryan. I love you Ryan but the one role you were destined to play is that of Deadpool.
