Kevin Smith is no stranger to the world of comics, one of my favorite podcasts to listen to his is “Fatman-On-Batman”, and also the SmodCast stuff.  But he often is called in for ‘expert’ opinions on things in the comicbook world (even though I highly disagree with his support of Batfleck), stating that DC’s upcoming “Stage 1” cinema list is indeed happening the way it’s been reported.

The list goes: Batman and Superman (May 2016), Shazam (July 2016), Sandman (Christmas 2016), Wonder Woman (May 2017), The Flash (July 2017), Green Lantern (possibly a tie-in to 2011’s….film….in 2017), and Justice League (2018).  We know that Aquaman has been cast, so it’s only a matter of time before the rest of the JLA gets the official word.

Smith’s full commentary can be heard on the latest episode of his “Hollywood Babble-On” podcast.
