There is something truly magical about Ridley Scott’s 1982 masterpiece Blade Runner.  Many of the epic science fiction films of today are held to the standard Scott set when the first view of a futuristic Los Angeles graced the screen.

It still holds up, too.  If you haven’t purchased the amazing blu-ray set, you should.  But, today, we have it on pretty good authority (if you count Variety saying ‘in talks’) that Ryan Gosling is up for the leading male role for the Blade Runner sequel.  No real information is known yet, other than Harrison Ford reprising his role as Rick Deckard, the Blade Runner.

We’re holding out for Edward James Olmos to return as Gaff, because there are still many origami shapes to be made.  We’ll let you know as this story progresses.
