As you see in the image he is refering to the items as Artifacts. What does this mean?! Does it mean that many mutants have been destroyed/killed as a result of the sentinels? OR is Professor X just a twisted collector of shit? WHO KNOWS! I guess we will all find out as we get closer to the release of the movie. Also check out bishop in the above image.
