What’s more terrifying than watching an undead, vengeful serial killer in a long lived movie franchise? A super realistic statue of said killer floating under a lake.

Artist Curtis Lahr built a detailed statue of Jason Voorhees (Friday the 13th series), machete in hand, and placed it down 120 feet at the bottom of a popular lake in Crosby, Minnesota.

Here is what Jason looked like when Lahr initially placed him in the depths almost 4 summers ago:

As if that isn’t creepy enough, here is what he looks as of this past October after a few years of exposure to Minnesota’s harsh weather and waters:

I’m not typically one for swimming, but I am a-okay for a while after seeing this. No thank you, goodbye.
