The Last Guardian has finally shown it’s head once again! The Sony E3 2015 press conference started with a gameplay demonstration of this long awaited game. The project was first announced at E3 2009, but surprisingly absent despite much hype in all these past years.

In the footage, a young boy and a giant beast with dog-like compassion navigate treacherous ancient architecture. They both help one another to get from one place to the next. It’s astonishing to think of what types of gameplay this will open up to the player throughout it’s perilous story.

The Last Guaridan is scheduled for a 2016 release (FINALLY!) and you can check out the full trailer below:
