Sony and Guerrilla Games released a full new gameplay trailer for the upcoming Horizon: Zero Dawn at E3 2016 showing off Aloy’s stealth, archery, and combining both while riding on the back of a robot. It seems to have a lot of RPG elements such as choosing the paths of your conversations so expect to have some as you make your way through the game.

The Horizon demo also gave a hint to the larger story showing a corrupted machine infecting other machines and altering their code to make them aggressive while you can change it yourself to make a creature docile and able to be ridden. A stray villager refers to the corrupted robots as a “demon,” but luckily our heroine “Doesn’t believe in demons.”

The combat looks to be complex and large as your character can battle an antagonist over a wide range. Time even slows as you can choose which arrows to thrust into weak spots that you can investigate with your character. Horizon Zero Dawn sold me the minute the trailer started playing. It’s going to be huge and I can’t wait to experience every minute of it.
