Horror fans all have one thing in common: terror.  Capcom has heard all your cries for a Resident Evil that goes back to the roots of original terror. Resident Evil 7 biohazard is looking to be everything  you’ve been waiting for, and it’s coming to PS4 (with the full gameplay experience also available via the included PlayStation VR Mode), Xbox One, and Windows PC (Steam and Windows 10 Store).

Capcom just announced Resident Evil 7 biohazard at Sony’s conference which will be the next major entry in the Resident Evil series.  Resident Evil 7 is meant to go back to atmospheric survival horror and with the game fully playable in VR, it’s going to be a fear we haven’t experienced before. The photorealistic graphical style is going to sent a chill down your spine and the first person camera is likely to make you shrill like a little girl.

Capcom is able to achieve a shocking degree of visual fidelity thanks to the new proprietary in-house RE Engine that includes VR oriented tools. Playing the game in the PlayStation VR Mode escalates the unsettling feeling to a level that most of you probably won’t even want to experience. The full gameplay experience is available in the included PlayStation VR Mode from beginning to end.

The Resident Evil saga started 20 years ago and it feels pretty good to be a fan right about now.  Resident Evil 7 is going haunt your dreams. The game releases for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 24, 2017.
