GI Joe Fan Film – Operation: Red Retrieval director Mark Cheng must be pinching himself to see if this is just a dream. Not only did his comic book idol, Larry Hama of Marvel’s G.I. Joe comics, see his fan film but the two really hit it off and are now working on a film together. The film in question is Ghost Source Zero, an original sci-fi film by Hama and Cheng that drops the audience in the middle of the Artificial Intelligence Revolution via a reality show that follows Homeland Security’s Cyber Crime Division.

If Cheng’s previous work is any indication, Ghost Source Zero will be heavy on action and with Hama so heavily involved in the design of the project, it should deliver for fans of his comic work. For those wanting to support this project, you can do so here. Rewards include digital downloads of the film, blu-rays, autographed concept art and prop armor from the film.

For those who haven’t seen GI Joe Fan Film – Operation: Red Retrieval, I suggest you give it a view.
