Ok, I’m finally excited to see Fox’s upcoming Gotham, and all it took was adding legendary comedienne Carol Kane.

Bleeding Cool reports she’ll be playing Gertrud Kapelput, the mother of Oswald Cobblepot / The Penguin played by Robin Lord Taylor.

But seriously.  Carol is wonderful, and I couldn’t be more excited. Hopefully the pilot will ‘accidently’ make it’s way to the internet like The Flash and Constantine did before SDCC.
