Fox released the trailer for the upcoming 6 episode X Files revival during episodes of Gotham and Minority Report Monday.

The X Files was a perfect storm of cast, story and timing. The height of the public’s interest in the unexplained helped this show to be the hit it was. Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny had an amazing chemistry on screen that made the characters of Mulder and Scully seem absolutely real and believable while they struggled to explain the unbelievable.

The thrilling, six-episode event series, helmed by creator/executive producer Chris Carter and starring David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson as FBI Agents FOX MULDER and DANA SCULLY, marks the momentous return of the Emmy Award- and Golden Globe-winning pop culture phenomenon, which remains one of the longest-running sci-fi series in network television history.
