Growing up being a big Stephen King fan I was skeptical on the It remake, but now there’s no need for me to worry. I haven’t been a fan of horror remakes or reimaginings, they just don’t do them justice.

This Memorial day weekend The Wrap reports the following:

True Detective” director Fukunaga repeatedly clashed with the studio and did not want to compromise his artistic vision in the wake of budget cuts that were recently demanded by New Line, which greenlit the first film at $30 million. The situation came to a head over Memorial Day weekend, leading to Fukunaga’s abrupt exit from the ambitious project.

As of now the project is canceled indefinitely. Which for me is ok there are some things that shouldn’t be touched, but that’s just me.
