The biggest reveal that confused the living shit out of the audience in Hall H this year is the reveal that Legendary is working on a new film called Skull Island. It was just a teaser video of the camera flying over a jungle and past a wall until it penetrates deep into the jungle.

Then King Kong pops out of the trees, beats his chest and roars– cut to the “Skull Island” title. There were audible “eh?” from the audience who seem to have forgotten that King Kong comes from skull island so I suspect that Legendary will change the title back to King Kong or something like that.

Time to start taking bets of when we’ll see a Godzilla vs. King Kong movie!
