Everyone was thinking that the next Hulk installment would be a Planet Hulk style film even tho Joss Whedon deemed that as “nonsense” over a year ago. Now in an interview with MTV Mark Ruffalo was asked if that storyline could sustain a film, which he said the following:

“Planet Hulk? I don’t think that’s the way to go yet,” he said. “I think you need more Banner. The whole thing is just him as Hulk, on a planet, fighting other gladiators.”

Ruffalo has said Marvel is considering another film with the jolly green giant, but there is not even a “skeletal version” yet.

Avengers: Age of Ultron, which will hit theaters on May 1, 2015.
