No franchise is safe from a reboot, and The Mummy proves this.  Remember the pretty enjoyable Brendan Fraser film? Yeah, I sure do.  But- here’s a brand new series so that the Universal Monsters can have a franchise.

This project will be director Alex Kurtzman’s second feature, as he’s most known as a writer/producer.
