Introducing Nintendo Switch! In addition to providing single and multiplayer thrills at home, the Nintendo Switch system also enables gamers to play the same title wherever, whenever and with whomever they choose. The mobility of a handheld is now added to the power of a home gaming system to enable unprecedented new video game play styles.

After watching the trailer I have to say that Nintendo, while they do not always produce the best games, they do know how to make some really impressive and unique designs. The latest being a system that is not only home entertainment but also useable as a tablet based system.  In today’s society with all the iPads and tablets that everyone is basically using it makes sense that someone would try and pull from that market. This might be the first step in true mobile gaming that seamlessly works with a standard home system.

Other systems have tried a similar product like the Playstation Vita but it never really seemed to stick. Me personally while i think this is great I think most are hoping one day the major companies will develop an app that can be accessed from a phone and then bring them to all of their games. That would be a real home run.
