We are so thrilled to report that Noah Hawley (“Fargo,” “Legion“) will be writing and directing the next installment in the “Star Trek” film for Paramount.

According to Variety, Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, Simon Pegg, and Zoe Saldana are returning, as well as J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot returning to produce, with Hawley also producing through his 26 Keys production banner.

Theoretically, the Quinten Tarantino “Trek” is still happening as well.
