What about “Non-Stop” though? Unlike most critics who appear to be going into Non-Stop for a deeper meaning and giving it its current 57% Tomatometer, I went in for another dose of Liam Neeson B-movie entertainment, and this film delivers just that. The film is basically just as the trailer set it up; Liam Neeson plays an Air Marshal with his particular set of skills on a flight with a mystery passenger threatening to kill a passenger every 20 minutes unless $150 million is deposited in a secure account. The film keeps you on the edge of your seat while suspecting everyone of being the villain including the main character, much like a ‘Scream’ film. Unfortunately near the end of the film you realize no matter who the villain is, there’s no way the answer to could live up to its own mystery.

The film also suffers every now and then from when a main character of the story does stupid shit that you would never do in that situation, and thus pulling you away from the character during those moments because you start thinking he deserves the consequences for his stupid actions, much like when a character in a horror film follows the creepy sound down a dark basement.

With good casting, pure entertainment, and even a moment where Liam Neeson appears to use the force to lift a gun, Non-Stop should provide an enjoyable experience if the trailer sold you.

I give Non-stop a 7.8 out of 10

(Score based on school grading in which 10-5 mean A-F, and 5-0 lets you know how badly it failed, just to rub it in)
