Overground Comics is the first full publishing imprint to attempt to run it’s entire line in a real time continuity. This means that the characters and concepts of Overground Comics will actually grow and change with age, unlike most comic book imprints. This means no reboots, ret-cons, fake deaths, or any other dishonest marketing gimmicks to keep things fresh, because they won’t be necessary. They are also allowing convention goers who visit us at shows across the country to name their own price for trying the books. They simply ask only that they pay what they honestly believe to be a fair price for taking a leap of faith on these books, because they want you to try the books on own terms.

Graduate is the story of Natalie, a young girl who discovers that she is impervious to harm, and doesn’t know how to handle it. After a series of run-ins with authorities, Natalie agrees to a probation where she attends a new college designed to help young people with super powers learn to deal with their abilities in a productive manner. Natalie doesn’t want to be a hero, and would rather be forgotten, but she graduates from the school nonetheless. When the first graduating class is flown to a remote location for their graduation ceremony, the plane is attacked by a strange and unknown villain, and is destroyed, with Natalie is the only survivor. After the events of the attack, Natalie must decide whether to either shrink back into the unknown, or go after the stranger who tried to kill her. Written by Jon Hughes, illustrated by Celia Calle.
