Nothing says space quite like “2001: A Space Odyssey,” hence why Apple TV+’s upcoming animated series “Snoopy In Space” would use a familiar tune for it’s first teaser.
Perfect timing for this clip, considering the 50th anniversary of man’s first landing on the moon on July 20th.
Yes, obviously we recognize part of “The Blue Danube” as being a classical piece of music rather than just “something from a movie,” so don’t get all antsy there in our comments, persons.
Anyhow- Apple TV+ has a new animated series coming this fall, based on the Charles Schultz “Peanuts” gang. This comes after NASA and Peanuts Worldwide partnered last year in a multi-year Space Act Agreement designed to inspire a passion for space exploration and STEM students.

“Snoopy in Space follows Snoopy as his dreams of being an astronaut become a reality when he and Woodstock tag along with the Peanuts gang on a field trip to NASA and are chosen for an elite mission into space. As Snoopy and Woodstock fulfill their dreams of astronaut training and space travel, Charlie Brown and the gang assist their friends from mission control.”
Bonus points for all the Woodstocks helping blast the signature red dog house into the great unknown!
