The Triwizard Cup is one of the most coveted prizes to be won in the entire wizarding world. Three prestigious wizarding schools compete against each other in a series of challenges for school bragging rights and of course glory. A champion from each school is selected, with the aid of the mystical goblet of fire. In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, an enchantment on the goblet resulted in four champions being chosen, including Harry himself! The harrowing challenges the Triwizard Champions have to face are not for the faint of heart, but they were nothing compared to real reason Harry’s name was drawn from that Goblet. The Triwizard Cup ended up being a “port key”, which teleported Harry and fellow champion, Cedric Diggory to an old graveyard. It is there we learn of a a nefarious plot, that culminated in the resurrection of he who must not be named as well as Cedric’s death!
