If the opening strains of Journey’s “Separate Ways” make you want to play some classic cabinet video games, do we have some good news for you! We’re getting Tron 3, and it’s starting production this fall.
Five years ago Tron: Legacy brought us back into the Grid’s world of light cycles, identity discs, and Programs. We fought for the users alongside Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund) and his father Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges) against Clu to save Quorra and the future of the digital world.
What we know for sure so far is that Hedlund is confirmed to return as Sam, Joseph Kosinski (Tron: Legacy, Oblivion) is returning to direct, and Vancouver will host the production. (We are totally ok with the idea of Daft Punk scoring this film too!)
Filming is scheduled to begin on October 5, 2015.
