For those of you who may need a recap: the story will take place several years after Uncharted 3 wherein the retired fortune hunter Nathan Drake is forced back into the world of thieves. Drake embarks on a  journey that intends to span across the globe in pursuit of a historical conspiracy behind a fabled pirate treasure. This new adventure adventure looks to test everything we know about the series and possible sacrifice characters that anyone who has played the game has come to love over the years.

This trailer is amazing. It looks to be a mix of CGI and game-rendered graphics in multiple places which include New York City and even Africa. There’s a brief part where you can see Drake diving to what looks like a sunken ship which most likely holds a lot of significance to further the plot of the story.

But lastly the thing that strikes the audience the most is how personal of a story this last Uncharted may be. Naughty Dog looks like it’s trying to pull a Pixar and conjure up every single last tear it can get from the fans. I, for one, can only offer some of Snape’s final words…..Take them, Take them. After what looks to be the final story trailer for the game, I am filled with renewed excitement after being able to play the Beta months ago. It’s going to be one hell of a last ride.

Check out the trailer below:

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is set to release on April 26th 2016 (please, no more delays…)
