This Friday Star Wars: The Force Awakens Trailer is set to hit theaters, and director JJ “Lens Flair” Abrams has confirmed this with a tweet featuring this photo:

Regal Entertainment Group has announced that fans will see the trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens this Friday in a select group of theaters.

Here is the list:

Irvine, CA Edwards Irvine Spectrum 22 & IMAX
San Diego, CA Edwards Mira Mesa Stadium 18 IMAX & RPX
Atlanta, GA Regal Atlantic Station Stadium 18 IMAX & RPX

Apparently at these nine  theaters will play the trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens before every movie this weekend (November 28). No word on when the trailer will be allowed to be seen publicly. If anyone gets it early or finds it early. Send it our way please!

UPDATE: From Star Wars Underworld‘s site, we have MORE rumors of AMC Theaters possibly getting the trailer as well.  We’ll keep you updated as anything gets confirmed.
