We’ve been waiting for this announcement for awhile now, and I’m happy to report that Warner Brothers has chosen a worthy woman to helm their 2017 Wonder Woman film.
Emmy winning director Michelle MacLaren (The X-Files, Game Of Thrones, Breaking Bad) has been named as the lady to take on the direction of the Gal Gadot starring movie about the Amazonian Princess. This was confirmed by Variety. MacLaren will be the first woman to take ‘the chair’ on a DC film. The last female director in the superhero genre was Lexi Alexander with Punisher: WarZone in 2008.
