“It’s top secret but I’ll tell you this much… Ralph leaves the arcade and wrecks the Internet. What could go wrong?” John C. Reilly, the voice of Ralph said. Yes, Disney confirmed Sarah Silverman will return to voice Vanellope von Schweetz alongside Reilly as Ralph.
Director of the first Wreck it Ralph Rich Moore will co-direct the sequel with Phil Johnston, who co-scripted the original (with Frozen’s Jennifer Lee). It’s always a good sign when a director/writer team returns for a sequel, hopefully they will recapture the arcade magic.
Along with the Wreck-It Ralph 2 announcement, we learned that Ralph will be dropping by to “wreck” Disney’s mobile game Disney Crossy Road starting at 12 PM PST on Thursday, June 30th.
Wreck it Ralph 2 is eyeballing a March 9th 2018 release date.
