After the almost orgasmic beauty of Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer hitting today, we cannot forget about the crazy awesome that’ll be Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Apocalypse (even though yes, it’s Fox-owned).

We don’t know much about how Singer and Kinsberg will be changing the storyline around, don’t get me started on X-Men: Days Of Future Past as I STILL throw things anytime it’s mentioned.  (I do however LOVE X-Men: First Class.)

The most recent name rumored to be in talks to play the all powerful immortal mutant.  And by recently rumored, I mean this piece from Superhero Hype.  As they ask at the end of their post, Hardy has also been rumored to be in talks to be a part of the upcoming Suicide Squad film from Warner Brothers and DC Comics.

Would he make a better choice for one over the other?  In my mind, yes.  I wasn’t a fan of his ridiculous sounding Bane, even though I enjoy his work in other films, like Bronson.  As a gigantic fan of X-Men comics and the truly bitchin’ 90’s cartoon, I would LOVE to see Tom as Apocalypse.  He already has the physique, and if they let him have his REGULAR voice, it would be a wonderful choice.

What do you think?  Marvel vs DC for Tom Hardy?  Who do you want to see as Apocalypse?
