For those lucky enough to attend the Zenescope after party, at Time Scare following NYCC, you were in for a real treat. Not only were you provided with the ability to get sloshed at the open bar BUT you also were treated to one AMAZING burlesque show by the lovely gals of Ink and Paint Burlesque.

As awesome as the Burlesque show was this was only the BEGINNING of what would be known as one extremely spectacular night. After the Burlesque show you were treated with the pilot of Grimm Fairy Tales Animated. And all I can say is cartoon my balls! This animation, Directed by Jon Schnepp the same guy who works on Metalocalypse, brings back the gore that one might have seen in an old school Heavy Metal Animation.

The story follows Hansel and Gretle in a re-imagination that really brings new life to this famous story of Hansel and Gretel.  In addition to that the voice acting cast stars not only Chris Hardwick but it also has a few of Zenescope’s fans who help contributed via the kickstarter!  (Talk about awesome right!)  If you saw the cartoon I think you would agree it is only a matter of time before this series is picked up by a major network! So be on the look out because it is most definitely coming soon!
