Tank Girl is a classic comic book created back in 1988 by Jamie Hewlett and Alan Martin.  It is a series based in an apocalyptic type world starring Tank Girl. Tank Girl aka Rebecca Buck drives a tank, which doubles as her home. She undertakes a series of missions for a nebulous organization before making a serious mistake and being declared an outlaw for her sexual inclinations and her substance abuse.

The strip was initially set in a stylized post-apocalyptic Australia, although it drew heavily from contemporary British pop culture.

But now, with the help of the talented Freddie Nova, Tank Girl jumps out of the pages of the comics and into our lives by this extremely talented cosplayer.  Freddie has cosplayed other great characters including Robocop, Venom and  Skeletor just to name a few.
