Something we are looking forward to in the coming year is the amount of amazing Marvel television headed our way via Netflix.  We’ll get Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Ironfist possibly getting their own shows, The Defenders, and Daredevil.

While the only things we’ve really seen thus far are ‘leaked’ set photos of Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) as the title character walking through New York, the rest of the casting has us pretty excited.

This image was just released by Film Divider Twitter account of a very dark FIRST official shot of the Daredevil outfit.  Apparently, you can see the full thing in the new issue of Entertainment Weekly.

Kingpin, Daredevil’s arch nemesis, will be played by Vincent D’ONofrio.  While not the most LARGE Kingpin we could hope to see, he certainly has the acting chops as seen in numerous seasons of Law & Order and even his role in Men In Black.

Karen Page, DD’s main love interest, will be played by True Blood alum Deborah Ann Woll.  We know she’s for sure in the first episode of the show, but other than that, we’ll have to wait and see what they do.  In this photo, we also see Matt’s best friend Foggy Nelson, as played by Elden Henson.

Claire Temple, an emergency room nurse most known for her romantic ties to Luke Cage, will be played by Rosario Dawson.  Our theory here is she’ll be the attending when Matt Murdock gets brought in after his big accident and becomes privy to his abilities.

The release date for Marvel and Netflix’s Daredevil is widely believed to be May 2015.
