DC Comics fans have been anticipating a real, live action Justice League for many years.  Warner Brothers will be delivering the first installment next year with their Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice. But for many of us, we’re REALLY waiting for Justice League: Dark.

It’s long been rumored that Warner Brothers was considering such a film, centering on the more macabre characters in the DC lexicon such as John Constantine, Swamp Thing, Deadman, Zatanna, and Etrigan The Demon.

Today, TrackingBoard posted an exclusive story that Scott Rudin is indeed moving forward, with plans to film and produce the dark tales as early as 2016.

I was also sad to see in the report that Matt Ryan, who played Constantine on the shortlived NBC series (who will be appearing this season on the CW’s Arrow) will be recast for the film.
