Amid rumors of the Oscar winning actor reprising his role of J. Jonah Jameson in the Spiderman reboot, it looks like J.K. Simmons is jumping comic universes from Marvel to DC.

The Hollywood Reporter says the actor has been cast to play Gotham’s Commissioner James Gordon in the upcoming Justice League film, with possible appearances in the other Warner Brothers/DC Comics films.
