Yesterday while on set of the untitled Han Solo film currently filming, director Ron Howard posted a small look into Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian.

Pictured in Howard’s monitor is Glover ( announced last year to take on the role), standing over a console. Glover is most well known for his work in “Community”, “Atlanta” and his music career.

About a month ago, Howard replaced Phil Lord and Chris Miller after their departure from production. On July 11, he also posted a picture of Lando’s wardrobe, and a few days later a shot of Chewbacca on set.

I don’t know about everyone else, but this has me pretty darn excited! *fingers crossed*

The still untitled film is expected to be released May 2018.
