25 days of christmas movies continuing on with 1983’s Trading Places directed by John Landis. Dan Akroyd stars as upper class Louis Winthrope III who must literally remember people less fortunate than him during the Christmas season when he must trade places with a small time thief named Billy Ray Valentine played by Eddie Murphy. Again, not a traditional Christmas movie sprinkled with tinsel, but there’s a humbling good will morality underlying theme. Jamie Lee Curtis costars and the  Coming to America tie in is genius!
